Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Here is the part that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
